It was a pleasure to stay at The Fairmont Mission Inn and Spa. I was there for 4 days and what an incredible experience.
As usual I look for the food quality, the service and the accommodations. It was incredible all around!
The grounds were clean, the pool service was really incredible. Towels there at all time, waiters and waitresses to cater to you at all time.
The food was really a plus. The restaurant “Santé” was everything you expect a AAA Four Diamond restaurant should be! “Santé” was included in the The Elite Traveler & Laurent-Perrier , Top 100 Restaurants in the World in 2013. One of the dinner we had was a wonderful buffet with fish, pasta station, meat station, a different sort of mash potato martini bar with toppings like cheese, bacon, and scallions. The way food looks and smell really affect your taste! In this case, it was absolutely fabulous. The desserts included macaroons, tiramisu and creme brûlée. Delicious! We also had breakfast at the restaurant “Sante” . Incredible buffet of croissants, fresh fruits, omelette station and much more. The restaurant is a must if you are ever in the vicinity.
The staff at the hotel, the way they accommodate the clients was really above and beyond. Smiling at all time, answering questions, asking how they can make your stay better one.
The Spa accommodations were great, and the staff there very kind.
I hope I do get the opportunity to go to other Fairmont Hotels to be able to see if the service and accommodations are up to the standards of that one!
Here are couple of photos I took there. A must stay if you are going to Sonoma! I really recommend that wonderful place.
